Q: Where can I find the proper times for my washer and dryer?
A: If you have a washer and dryer with a time display you can read the times off that, just switch between the settings you use for Reds/Colors (Delicates), Darks (Normal) and Whites (Heavy Duty). If your washer and dryer doesn't have a display you will have to record times using a stopwatch or the Clock app on your smartphone.

Q: I set the times in Laundry Watcher, but sometimes the washer or dryer stops sooner or later than those times. Why is that?
A: Many modern washers and dryers have moisture sensors and other devices that can change the time a particular load of laundry takes to wash or dry. LaundryWatcher uses the times you entered on the Settings page, but those are just the defaults.
Q: When I first opened the app there are already times in it for laundry. Where do those times come from?
A: These are the times from a GE Whirlpool Duet washer 4.1 cu. ft. (model WFW70HEBW) and a GE Whirlpool Duet Sport 6.7 cu. ft. gas dryer (model WGD8410SW). The times are the Delicate cycles (Red basket), Normal cycles (Dark basket) and Heavy Duty cycles (White basket) from each machine.

Q: I can't drag a load to the Washer (or Dryer). Why not?
A: You can't drag a load to the Washer or Dryer when they already have a load. Also, you can't drag from a basket unless the basket has a count larger than 0.
